St. Maurice's Abbey

This place of pilgrimage is regarded as the “cradle” of Christianity in Switzerland. St Maurice and his companions are venerated here. Saint-Maurice will be celebrating the 1500th anniversary of this important Swiss place of mercy in 2015.
