Maria zum Ahorn

This pilgrimage church owes its name to the iconoclasm of the Reformation. According to legend, a herdsman rescued a statue of the Virgin Mary from being burnt and in 1529 brought it to the place where the church now stands. It continues to be a popular place of pilgrimage to this day.
